Prof. Martin Schrappe, Prof. Simone Fulda and Prof. Christoph Klein have been decorated for their pathbreaking research in oncology.

The German Cancer Prize is a German academic award that is remunerated with 22 500 Euro. It is allocated by the German Cancer Society and donated by Sanofi-Aventis, Amgen und Pfizer Oncology.
